MUSIC TEACHERS OF FAIRFAX-LOUDOUN is an association of independent music teachers who offer private and group lessons in piano, strings, voice, woodwinds, guitar, and more. The association sponsors outstanding performance opportunities for students of all levels throughout the academic year. Check out our Events page! Membership includes

educational programs and a supportive community for professional development, as well as a variety of non-competitive performance opportunities for students.

FOR THE STUDENT

Students of MTFL teachers have
the opportunity to take part in
formal recitals at the Reston Community Center and Ashby Ponds, an adjudicated Fall Festival, and the Holiday Music Serenades Concert Fundraiser, as well as the performances at the Kensington Senior Community.

FOR THE PARENT

MTFL is a valuable resource for parents and individuals searching for piano, voice, string, guitar, woodwind, and other orchestral instrument instruction.

FOR THE COMMUNITY

MTFL brings quality music to the community through recitals: in the Reston Community Center's beautiful theater, at the Dulles Town Center during the holidays, and at the retirement communities of Ashby Ponds and The Kensington.

MTFL also has a beautiful harpsichord available for rent.
